Variocopter ™

Variocopter ™ is a trademark by which we designate the aircraft we develop. All of them have one or more annular wings to avoid wingtip-induced drag. They are based on the following several globally proven innovations that synergistically multiply their positive effects. Annular wings can be significantly thinner and lighter because they form a 3D structure. They integrate the fuselage of the aircraft much more robustly, because the wing has a grip on the fuselage in four places, and conventional wings are mounted on both sides of the fuselage cantilevered, which is not good mechanical design. The same propellers can be used for vertical and cruise flying of an aircraft with an oval thin quasi-wing, as shown in the video below:

or an aircraft with two parallel wings with connected tips to prevent the wingtip vortex drag:

We design tandem box-wings for aircrafts with a short take-off, high payload capacity and extended flight range. Pushing cruise propellers, behind and above the wing, increased its lift, causing further lowering of the air pressure on the upper surface of the rear wing of the tandem. This synergistic use of cruise propellers reduces energy (fuel) consumption in cruise flight by up to 30%:
